A new book titled ‘Miss Pat: My Reggae Music Journey’ will be available on March 17, 2021. The book tells the important story of Patricia chin, the 84-year-old co-founder of reggae music powerhouse VP Records. Chin’s 60-year musical journey has taken her from Kingston, Jamaica to Jamaica, Queens and far beyond.

Miss Pat: The subjects of My Reggae Music Journey include Caribbean music, particularly reggae, soca and calypso; immigrant success stories; entrepreneurship; and the empowerment of women.
The 212-page hardcover book includes 220 photos and illustrations. An accompanying audio package will be released on VP Records in the summer of 2021.

A percentage of the proceeds from all book sales will go to the new Vincent & Pat Chin Foundation.
